This is the best case I have found for
old 5 string banjos with a shorter scale. They are intended
as a Tenor Open Back Case but really are much more suitable
for old 5 strings. It will fit wonderfully your old
Stewart, Lyon & Healy, Dobson, etc from the turn
of the century. Later manufactured Vegas with a longer
scale will probably not fit but you should measure just
to be sure. These are very good quality arch
top Canadian made cases of wood with
shoulder strap locks and plush lining, with a very comfortable
handle.
